You can also optionally send your report directly to any of those clinics to request a free quote.

The Premium Report gives you everything in the free report, plus:

— 3 AI preview images — conservative, recommended, and aggressive density levels — instead of 1

— Per-clinic pricing with the exact procedure cost calculated for your graft count, plus estimated travel and accommodation costs

— Zone-by-zone graft breakdown — hairline, temples, mid-scalp, crown — so you understand exactly where grafts are going

— Clinic checklist and questions to ask during your consultations

— PDF report emailed to you instantly — bring it to any surgeon as an independent baseline

Our AI analyzes both your front and top photos using the same Norwood classification system that surgeons use, and produces a full graft estimate — not just a range. Most users find it aligns within 10–20% of what their surgeon later quotes in person. It's designed to give you a confident, informed starting point — not to replace a clinical assessment.

The free Basic Report is displayed on screen immediately — typically within 30–60 seconds of uploading. The AI before/after image generates in the background (around 30 seconds) and appears automatically. The Premium Report analysis takes 2–4 minutes and is emailed to you when complete.

No — and we're clear about that. This tool is designed to prepare you for consultations, not replace them. You'll walk in knowing your approximate Norwood stage, a realistic graft count, and what procedures cost across 10+ countries. That means you'll ask better questions and know when a quote is fair.

Two photos: a front-facing photo showing your hairline (like a selfie) and a top-down photo showing the crown of your head. Good lighting and a plain background give better results. Each photo must be under 5MB. Hair that's wet, heavily styled, or covered by a hat will reduce accuracy.

Our AI is trained primarily on male pattern baldness (Norwood Scale). Female hair loss follows different patterns (Ludwig Scale) and our accuracy for female patients is limited. We plan to add female hair loss analysis in a future update.

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. Apple Pay and Google Pay are available depending on your device. The free Basic Report requires no payment.

On your free Basic Report page, each matched clinic has a button — "Send my report to this clinic for a quote." Clicking it sends your name, email, hair loss stage, graft count, and technique recommendation directly to that clinic. They can then contact you with a personalized quote. Your photos are not sent to clinics — only your hair loss data and contact info.

Only with your consent. When you submit your photos on the upload page, there is a consent checkbox that explicitly states your anonymized hair loss details (stage, graft count, selected countries) will be shared with matched clinics so they can reach out with consultation offers. If you do not check this box, you cannot submit. You can also choose to send your report to a specific clinic manually using the button on your results page.

Clinics are scored based on how well their specialties and graft range match your needs, their ratings, and whether they operate in the countries you selected. Featured clinics always appear at the top. We cap results at 4 clinics per country so your list stays focused and useful rather than overwhelming.

Your photos are used only to generate your analysis. They are stored on our servers and automatically deleted after 6 months. We never share your photos with clinics or third parties — only your hair loss data and contact info (with your consent) are shared. If you want your photos deleted sooner, email us at hello@tropicflare.com and we'll remove everything within 7 days.

Your photos are sent to two external AI services to generate your analysis: Anthropic's Claude API (for hair loss classification and graft estimation) and Replicate / Flux Kontext (for AI-generated before/after preview images). Both process your images under their own privacy policies and do not use API inputs to train their models. No other third party sees your photos.

Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your card number, CVV, or billing details. We only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded and a transaction reference ID.
